The idea for a PSP (Paintshop Pro/Photoshop) community blog hop came about in April of 2011 when I was participating in a blog hop where you had the opportunity to win fabulous prizes and merchandise sponsored by other bloggers just be simply leaving a comment or following the sponsoring blogger's blog via Google Friend Connect, Twitter, or Facebook.  It was a great way to meet new people and foster new relationships and learn about those individuals we "chat" with on a daily basis but rarely get the chance to meet in real life.

As I was visiting the various bloggers and leaving comments for them, the thought occurred that we could do something similar in the PSP community.  I sent a few emails out to scrapkit designers, licensing agency owners, tutorial writers, and store managers that I knew and there was an overwhelming enthusiasm to have an event such as this for the PSP community.

As a result, the PSP Community Official Blog Hop was born.  Our hope is that, through our events and the generous donations of the various individuals and corporations who participate in our events, you will have the opportunity to view the beautiful work of some very talented artists, create new friendships and business relationships with others in the community, but most of all to have fun.

The PSP Blog Hop events are about showcasing your talents, clearly evidenced by the wonderful submissions we receive!  It's also about having fun, and sharing something that we all love in one manner or another with each other.
